Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry received a message from his wife Ayesha Curry

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is about to begin his Olympics run with USA Basketball. While this is Curry’s primary focus this summer, the star point guard is still making moves off the court.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Curry revealed the trailer for his “Mr. Throwback” series on Peacock. Announcing that the premier of this show will be August 8th, Curry gave his followers a first look at the upcoming series.

A statement from Curry (via Variety) read the following:

“I was excited to step into the world of scripted comedy with ‘Mr. Throwback,’ a story with love for family and friends at its center. I’m looking forward to viewers getting to see me play a version of myself no one has ever seen before, and hope they feel connected to the characters and the dilemmas they face throughout the series.”

This is a big announcement from Curry, as it gives a first look at this upcoming Peacock original, as well as an official release date. The Instagram post has already received over 34,000 likes as fans are excited about Curry’s new off the court venture.

Always supportive of her husband, Ayesha Curry shared her excitement for this upcoming series the Warriors star will be featured in. In his statement on the show (via Variety), Curry added the following:

“I am honored to have joined Adam, Ego, Ayden and the producing team of David Caspe, Matthew Libman, Daniel Libman and David Wain to create this series along with Erick Peyton steering the ship at Unanimous Media.”
