Basketball fans have discovered that Connor McCaffery, the boyfriend of Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, is liking tweets critiquing Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.
The rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese dates back to last year, when the latter led her LSU Tigers to victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2023 NCAA women’s basketball national championship game. Reese memorably taunted Clark with John Cena’s “You can’t see me” gesture that Clark had used on an opponent earlier in the tournament.
Their feud escalated further on Saturday, when Reese was seen celebrating on the sideline after teammate Chennedy Carter delivered a cheap shot on Indiana’s star rookie:
Several fans on X/Twitter noticed that Connor McCaffery has liked several tweets trashing Angel Reese, including this post from Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy a year ago:
And if you go to McCaffery’s “likes” on X, you’ll see that he liked posts that included falls for the Fever to sign an enforcer for Clark:

Both Carter and Reese refused to apologize for what went down with Clark on Saturday, with the former LSU star stating that she’s just fine embracing the villain role with the Sky.
Clark and the Fever got the last laugh anyway with a 71-70 victory over Chicago, snapping a three-game losing skid in the process. In that game, Clark had 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal.
Angel Reese & Caitlin Clark Have Three More Meetings This Year
The good news for fans of the Reese-Clark rivalry is that there are still three chapters to go in the regular season alone, and the next installment isn’t far off.
Reese and the Sky will visit the Fever again on June 16 before welcoming them to the Windy City seven days later on June 30. The two clubs will wrap up their season series with a second meeting in Chicago on Aug. 30.
