Playmaker Kean Baclaan leaves NU Bulldogs
MANILA, Philippines — Former NU Bulldog Kean Baclaan may announce the school he will transfer to by next week, the cager said.
Baclaan confirmed to Philstar.com his departure from the Bulldogs’ lair.
“Yes, I left NU already,” he told Philstar.com in a message.
The scoring guard said that he is still yet to make a decision on what school he will transfer to.
“But, maybe next week, I will announce it,” Baclaan said.
The guard was the second top scorer of NU in UAAP Season 86.
He averaged 10.6 points, 4.7 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game.
He helped NU reach the Final Four, as the Bulldogs ended the elimination round with a 10-4 slate.
Baclaan earlier committed to UST, but decommited and went to NU, where he spent the past two seasons.
Wherever he lands, the spitfire guard will bring with him his hot shooting and crafty playmaking.
