Terrafirma signs two rookies acquired in trade with Ginebra
TERRAFIRMA signed the two rookie picks it acquired in a trade with Barangay Ginebra.
Didat Hanapi and Paul Hernandez were each given one-year deals by the Dyip management, according to team manager Ronald Tubid.
Hanapi and Hernandez were represented by agent Edgar Mangahas, who was present during the contract signing along with Tubid.
Hanapi and Hernandez were dealt by Ginebra to Terrafirma for the Dyip’s second-round pick in Season 50.
The two players were both selected by the Kings in the second round of the recent draft, with Hanapi being picked at No. 17 and Hernandez at No. 22.
The signing of Hanapi and Hernandez also meant they had been released by their respective MPBL ballclubs.
A product of Adamson, Hanapi played for the Manila Batang Sampaloc, while Hernandez from Mapua was previously with the San Juan Knights.
Brandon Edwards, a member of the Trepca franchise which recently emerged as Kosovo Superleague champion, will serve as Terrafirma’s import.
