JUSTIN Brownlee had 14 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, but Pelita Jaya Basketball Club lost to Satria Muda Pertamina Jakarta, 84-71, on Thursday in the finals of the Indonesia Basketball League at the Britama Arena.

Brownlee shot 4-of-9 from threes but his effort was not enough as Pelita Jaya moved one defeat away from losing the finals series against Satria Muda.

Game Two is scheduled on Saturday at the Indoor Stadium SC.

The Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player is wrapping up his stint with Pelita Jaya before joining Barangay Ginebra in its build-up for the PBA 49th Season Governors’ Cup.

Brownlee was not around for Barangay Ginebra during its exhibition game against New Taipei Kings in Macau where rookie RJ Abarrientos scored 20 points.

The 36-year-old Brownlee is seeking to capture a championship outside of Barangay Ginebra and bring his magic to Pelita Jaya, whose last title in the IBL came in 2017.

Anthony Beane had 15 points for Pelita Jaya, which couldn’t contain the 25-point, nine-rebound, eight-assist play of Satria Muda import Reynaldo Garcia Zamora.

Artem Pustovyi added 16 points and eight rebounds for Satria Muda.
