Nootsara Tomkom: ‘I feel like I’m reborn on the national team when playing in Vietnam’

Almost three years after leaving the Thai women’s volleyball team, setter Nootsara Tomkom shared with us her feelings about competing at the 2023 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship.

After 20 years of working with the Thai women’s volleyball team , former world number 1 setter Nootsara Tomkom and 6 other teammates have said goodbye to the national team. It has been 3 years since Nootsara Tomkom has had an international match.

She said that she was very happy to be in Vietnam, the feeling was still the same as the days of playing for the national team when competing internationally, it was like “living again with the national team”.

Currently, Diamond Food Fine Chef – Air Force Club has won a ticket to the final. The match will take place at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (May 2) at Vinh Phuc Stadium. The team’s opponent will be the winner of the ongoing semi-final 2 between Sport Center 1 (Vietnam) and Liaoning Donghua (China).
