At this year’s AVC Cup women’s volleyball tournament, the name Michele Gumabao is causing a stir because of her beauty that is not inferior to beauty queens.

The 2022 Asian Women’s Volleyball Cup – AVC Cup has determined the 8 names entering the quarterfinals, including: China, Vietnam, Philippines, Iran (Group A) and Japan, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Australia (Group B).

In particular, for the host Philippines, reaching the quarterfinals of this year’s tournament is considered extremely impressive when right before the tournament, the whole team encountered many problems.

In 2018, she entered the Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018 pageant and won convincingly. Soon after, she also entered Miss Globe 2018 and won the title of Miss Social Media.

In particular, her name exploded after registering for the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 contest. Possessing top-notch beauty and a healthy body due to long-time volleyball practice, Gumabao ended the contest successfully as the second runner-up.

The 30-year-old contestant competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and finished as second runner-up.

Earlier this year, she also announced that she would be pausing her volleyball career indefinitely to focus on the 2022 election. Therefore, the AVC Cup will likely be Gumabao’s last tournament before suspending competition.
