Michele Gumabao was born in San Mateo, California, on September 2, 1992. She is the daughter of former actor and basketball player, Dennis Roldan. She has three siblings, Kat, Paolo and Marco.
Michele studied high school in School of the Holy Spirit of Quezon City. In college, she took up Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in marketing management in De La Salle University, where she was a consistent Dean’s Lister and a star player of its volleyball team for four years, DLSU Lady Spikers. She was two-time Best Blocker for UAAP Season 73 and 74, and the Finals Most Valuable Player for UAAP Season 75, her last year playing for the team.
In 2014, Michele became one of the celebrity housemates for Pinoy Big Brother: All In along with Jane Oineza, Alex Gonzaga and Daniel Matsunaga. She was evicted on Day 57.
Michele joined the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas-Globe 2018. She will represent the Philippines in the Miss Globe 2018 pageant.
Aside from having a successful career, Michele has also been blessed with a happy love life. She found a handsome and a very supportive boyfriend in Aldo Panlilio. They met through a common friend who set them up for a date. Aside from fitness, they also enjoy spending time together over sports or food.
Before the coronation night of the pageant, Aldo posted a sweet message for Michele on Instagram, “Joining the Binibining Pilipinas pageant wasn’t even in your plans till about February, but even with the short period of prep time, you accepted the challenge and got yourself ready and became in the talks to take home a crown. Goes to show you can do anything you set your mind to. Whatever happens, me and all the people who support you will be proud no matter what. I know you got this cause we winners! Tonight is the night!”
