Report: Eya Laure considering transfer to Capital1

Eya Laure is reportedly considering a move to the Capital1 Solar Energy Solar Spikers, pending her release from the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

According to an article published by Abante on Thursday, Laure is in discussions with the Solar Spikers management for a potential transfer ahead of the PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference next month.

“She’s trying to go to Capital1,” an unnamed source was quoted as saying.

Recent reports suggest that Eya, along with her elder sister Ennajie Laure and Buding Duremdes, are set to leave the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

However, Solar Spikers head coach Roger Gorayeb mentioned that Eya’s potential transfer to their team may be challenging as the former University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses star still has an active contract with the Crossovers.

“May legal impediment, pero bahala na ang management diyan,” Gorayeb said.

The Solar Spikers had a decent campaign in the recent PVL Reinforced Conference, where they reached the quarterfinals round.
