Brownlee Back, Fajardo Reigns: Maharlika Pilipinas League Opens Strong
The new season of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) kicked off with a bang, highlighted by the return of a fan favorite and the continued dominance of a league legend.
One of the biggest stories to emerge from opening day was the return of Justin Brownlee to Barangay Ginebra. The import, who missed the last Governor’s Cup due to injury, expressed his eagerness to rejoin the team and contribute to their success. Despite his age, Brownlee is confident in his ability to compete at a high level and help Ginebra reclaim their spot in the Governor’s Cup finals.
