Make no mistake. Risa Sato may have been a bubbly presence for the Creamline Cool Smashers with her dancing, jumping, and a huge smile on her face whenever the camera pans at her, but she is a hell of a volleyball player too.

Sato has been touted as the magic bunot and the game changer for the PVL Invitational Conference champions whenever she’s tapped to play. And her influence goes beyond the actual play too.

Sharing a throwback video on Instagram, the 28-year-old spiker said she wants players to clean sweat off the playing court themselves.

“Sana sa Philippines din. If may pawis sa floor or sweat, pupunas tayo,” Sato wrote.

“Mas mabilis [kapag sariling punas]. Para walang madulas sa training. Share ko lang.”

In the old video, Norman Miguel, who coached Sato during her days as an NU Lady Bulldog, revealed that the middle blocker pushed to have this ‘mop system’ in their team.
