After a 16-point Game 1 blowout, TNT posts another double-digit win over Barangay Ginebra for a 2-0 start in the best-of-seven PBA Governors’ Cup finals

MANILA, Philippines – The TNT Tropang Giga took a commanding 2-0 series lead in the best-of-seven PBA Governors’ Cup championship series after downing Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 96-84, on Wednesday, October 30, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, the Best Import of the Conference frontrunner, shone anew for the flagship franchise, dropping 37 points, hauling 13 rebounds, and dishing out 7 assists as he played all 48 minutes.

TNT relied on momentum gained from a back-and-forth third quarter to open the fourth, scoring six unanswered points to build an 81-75 edge and never looked back.

Game 3 is set for Friday, November 1, 7:30 pm, at the same venue.
