PVL All-Filipino Conference Set to Begin
The Philippine Super League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference is set to begin on November 12, 2024 and run through February 2025. It will be the longest conference in the league’s history and will feature a number of exciting matchups.
Creamline is the defending champion and is expected to be a strong contender once again. The team is led by Alyssa Valdez, who is one of the best volleyball players in the Philippines. Valdez is coming off a strong season in which she was named the MVP of the Reinforced Conference. Creamline is also expected to have a solid supporting cast, which includes Elizabet Deschamps, Jema Galanza, and Tots Carlos.
Chocomucho is another team that is expected to be in the mix for the championship. The team is led by new team captain Ces Rondina, who is a talented outside hitter. Rondina is coming off a strong season in which she was named the MVP of the Invitational Conference. Chocomucho also has a number of other talented players, including Des Cheng, Maddie Madayag, and Bea De Leon.
Petro Gazz is a team that is always capable of making a deep run in the playoffs. The team is led by MJ Phillips, who is one of the best middle blockers in the Philippines. Phillips is coming off a strong season in which she was named the Best Middle Blocker of the Reinforced Conference. Petro Gazz also has a number of other talented players, including Fille Cainglet, Cherry Rondina, and Myla Pablo.
Cignal is a team that is on the rise. The team made it to the semifinals of the Reinforced Conference last season and is looking to build on that success. Cignal is led by Rachel Anne Daquis, who is a talented outside hitter. Daquis is coming off a strong season in which she was named the Best Opposite Spiker of the Reinforced Conference. Cignal also has a number of other talented players, including Ria Meneses, Honey Royster, and Coleen Sato.
The PVL All-Filipino Conference is sure to be an exciting competition. There are a number of teams that are capable of winning the championship. It will be interesting to see which team comes out on top.
