LISA shatters Jungkook's record, becoming the fastest K-pop idol to exceed 1 million followers

On June 6, BLACKPINK’s LISA set the internet ablaze with her debut on TikTok, quickly becoming the platform’s fastest K-pop idol to hit 1 million followers in just 2 hours and 18 minutes. The record was previously held by Jungkook, another K-pop sensation, who reached the milestone in 2 hours and 36 minutes.
But that’s not all. Lisa didn’t just stop at breaking records; she also sent fans into a frenzy by dropping hints about her upcoming solo comeback.Her personal company, LLOUD, teased fans with a poster announcing “COMING SOON – LISA” and a link to pre-save her upcoming song.


In a whirlwind 24 hours, Lisa shattered more records, amassing a staggering 4.98 million followers on TikTok, making her the most followed female artist within that timeframe. This achievement surpassed the previous record held by Deepika Padukone at 3.2 million followers.
For those unfamiliar, Lisa isn’t just a newcomer to solo success. As a member of BLACKPINK, she’s been making waves since the group’s debut in 2016 under YG Entertainment.
