The question of which team she would root for piqued the interest of many, given her relocation to South Korea at the age of 14 to forge her career path. She also garnered numerous praises for her off-stage athletic look complemented by minimal makeup.

Celebrating her 27th birthday on Wednesday, Lisa received a deluge of birthday greetings from her global fanbase. Her birthday became a trending subject on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The artist shared a video for the occasion on her YouTube channel, in which she disclosed her intentions to drop an album within the year, as well as expressed her joy in being able to follow her passions.

Born Pranpriya Manoban, Lisa made her debut with the South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2016 and initiated her solo journey in 2021 with the release of her album titled “Lalisa.”

In 2023, she was acknowledged by music streaming platform Spotify as the pioneering K-pop artist to hit the 1 billion streams mark for her track “Money.”

Beyond her musical achievements, Lisa has also left her mark in the fashion industry, serving as a global ambassador for high-end brands such as Celine and Bulgari. She also boasts a significant following on social media, with 102 million Instagram followers, setting a record as the first K-pop artist to reach this figure.

As reported by Korea JoongAng Daily in February, she founded her own agency LLOUD subsequent to parting ways with YG Entertainment.

The artist is anticipated to make her acting entrance in the third installment of the HBO-produced series “The White Lotus,” slated for a 2025 release, as per Deadline.
