Japan’s SV League: A New Era of Women’s Volleyball
Get ready for an exciting new season of women’s volleyball in Japan! The SV League is undergoing a major rebrand and is set to become the Japan V League. This revamped league promises to offer even more thrilling matches and intense competition.
Starting from October 2024, the B season will feature a quadruple round robin format, ensuring that fans get to see their favorite teams play more often. With 44 games per team, there’s no shortage of action to look forward to.
Some of the top teams to watch out for include NEC Red Rockets, Deno ASO, and Saitama Ageo Medics. These teams have consistently shown their dominance in the league and are expected to be strong contenders for the championship.
What’s more exciting is the participation of several Filipino players who will be adding their unique talents to the league. G Mor de Gman of Deno ASO, Mi madag of K Aqua Fairies, and Jaa Santiago of Osaka Marvelous are just a few of the Filipino stars who will be gracing the courts.
