Tim Cone dismisses SMB’s excuses, praises Justin Brownlee’s historic performance

In a recent interview, Ginebra coach Tim Cone dismissed San Miguel Beermen’s excuses for their loss in Game 1 of the PBA Governors’ Cup Finals. Cone also praised Justin Brownlee’s performance, calling him the best player in the league.

SMB had blamed their loss on fatigue, as they had just played a grueling series against TNT Tropang Giga in the semifinals. However, Cone was not buying their excuses. He said that Ginebra was also tired, but they found a way to win. He also pointed out that SMB had blown out Ginebra by 49 points in Game 1 of their previous series, so they should have been well-rested.
