Ayesha Curry is showing off her “little family” consisting of husband Stephen, daughters, Riley, 12, Ryan, 9, son, Canon, 6, and their newest baby boy, Caius.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday (Sept. 10), the family of six posed in a color-coordinating photo while on vacation. In Ayesha arms, lies their youngest child, who was born in May.
“My little family. So grateful,” she captioned the image.
Caius’ introduction follows a heated exchange between Parisian police, Ayesha and Steph’s mother during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the newborn was allegedly “hit in the head” by authorities.
In footage caught by a bystander on Aug. 10, Sonya Curry could be seen scolding an officer for allegedly “touching the baby,” and demanding to be let to their vehicle as Ayesha tearfully stood by. The authorities could be heard explaining that no one could go in the area of the President at that time and also apologizing about the hold up.
Draymond Green also appeared in the clip at some point, asking the authorities, “So even after him hitting the baby in the head, there’s still nothing ya’ll can do to get them out of here?”
The clip, however, does not show the baby being assaulted in any way. See below.
Ayesha announced her “last pregnancy” back in March in a feature story for her publication, Sweet July.
Two months later she also revealed that she had given birth “early.”
“Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!!” the pair captioned a joint post of the newborn holding one of their fingers on Instagram. “He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful! Caius Chai 5/11/24.”
“For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done,” she said in the digital issue regarding her last pregnancy. “We said, ‘Three, that’s it, we’re not doing this again.’ For me, the decision came from always finding myself looking around and feeling like somebody was missing. I would load up the car and think, ‘Oh, I forgot something.’ But nobody was forgotten. It started to turn my brain a little bit. Maybe somebody was missing. So we set out on this journey, knowing that this would complete our family.”
Considering her age and the concerns that come with pregnancy in your 30’s, Ayesha added that her latest child with the NBA champ will be her last.
“One of the biggest differences is a new understanding that this really does pass by in the blink of an eye,” she said. “And in the blink of an eye, it could also all be taken away. That’s encouraged me to slow down and take in every single little thing—especially with it being my last pregnancy.”
