Stephen Curry continued to defy expectations at a Team U.S.A. training session in Paris when he launched the ball from near the half-court line. The ball soared, kissed the hardwood once before bouncing a second time, and comfortably went through the net. Curry performed this routine successfully three times in a row and hardly broke a sweat. “You just gotta feel it,” Curry said with confidence when asked how he does it. When social media influencers recreated this shot, Curry responded with awe.

Popular Instagram influencer and soccer star Luke Trotman along with his girlfriend effortlessly nailed Curry’s shot and posted the video online to celebrate their wedding. “We saw Stephen Curry sinking these, we had to recreate,” Trotman said. The post instantly went viral and attracted the attention of Curry. “Ayyyyyyye I see you,” Curry responded in the comments, indicating his excitement on seeing the difficult shot performed flawlessly.

Trotman is a soccer player from Luton, England, and has played for his hometown club Luton City. He has played for the England C team and is often seen on social media donning the English soccer team’s jersey to show his support. Trotman also has a strong online presence and is often seen posting basketball-related content on Instagram.

This is not the first time Curry has surprised his fans. Just like his passion for basketball, the Golden State Warriors star has time and again expressed his dedication toward his fan base.

The perfect role model – Steph Curry takes his fans seriously

When not playing basketball, Stephen Curry dedicates a good amount of his time to acknowledging his fans. Last month, Curry was in London as part of Team U.S.A.’s Olympics tour and he visited a clothing store in London. The exchange between him and a fan was heartwarming.

On seeing a fan pick his jersey, Curry encouraged her to purchase it, saying “I think that’s the best one (jersey) in here.” The fan agreed, bought the jersey and Curry signed it, taking a picture with her. Furthermore, in May, Curry yet again surprised fans by taking the role of a bartender as he poured drinks for fans at the Platinum Lounge during the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival.

Last year, after an Arizona student’s half-court shot went viral, Curry paid him a surprise visit and gave him tickets to a game between the Warriors and the Phoenix Suns. There are several instances where Curry is seen dedicating a significant amount of packed schedule to fans.
