The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel crushed the San Miguel Beermen in Game 1 of their PBA Semifinals matchup on Sunday, October 9, 2024. The final score was 123-98, with Ginebra leading from start to finish.

Ginebra’s Hot Shooting

Ginebra’s offense was on fire all game long. They shot 55% from the field, including 45% from three-point range. Justin Brownlee led the way with 35 points, while Stephen Holt added 22 points.

SMB Struggles

The SMB offense struggled to keep up with Ginebra. They shot just 38% from the field and 28% from three-point range. Marcio Lassiter was their leading scorer with 18 points.

Ej Anosike’s Praise for JB

After the game, SMB import Ej Anosike had nothing but praise for JB. He said that he was surprised by how good JB was and that he was a “beast”.
