The finals of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) are set, and fans are in for another Risco sister team showdown as Creamline takes on PetroGazz in the championship match. Earlier in the semifinals, Creamline secured their spot with a commanding win, while PetroGazz outlasted Choco Mucho Flying Titans in an intense four-set battle.

In the first match, PetroGazz Angels fought their way into the finals, defeating Choco Mucho in four sets with scores of 23-25, 26-24, 25-19, and 25-20. The Angels’ performance was highlighted by their aggressive attacks and tight defense. Cherry Nunag, who scored a remarkable 32 points—including 30 attacks, one block, and one service ace—led her team to victory. Her unstoppable offense was complemented by the excellent defensive plays from Pons, who had 19 digs, and Mars Alba, who contributed 15 excellent receptions.

On the other side of the net, the Flying Titans put up a tough fight, especially in the first two sets, but the Angels proved too strong in the end. Isa Molde and Brook Van Oordt delivered double-digit performances, but the consistency of PetroGazz sealed their fate and handed them the last ticket to the finals.

Now, the much-anticipated finals will see Creamline Cool Smashers face off against PetroGazz Angels in a rematch of previous showdowns. PetroGazz will be seeking revenge after falling short in their last finals encounter with Creamline, while the Cool Smashers, led by stars like Alyssa Valdez, aim to defend their title.
