Fact Check: Viral Photo Collage Claiming To Show Aishwarya Rai With Baby Bump Is Morphed

Against this backdrop, a photo collage of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been circulating on social media. It shows what appears to be a baby bump. Many users claim that the actress is expecting her second child.

Searching for media reports confirming Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s second pregnancy, the NM team failed to find any news. This is unusual, as such news would undoubtedly have captured mainstream media attention.

But conducting a Reverse Image Search of the photo collage, we found an Instagram post by Viral Bhayani, dated October 31, 2022, with a caption: #AbhishekBachchan family at airport. Upon closely reviewing the full video, we found no visible baby bump as depicted in the viral images.

 A subsequent search led us to credible media outlets such as Filmfare, Bollywood Life, and Times Entertainment, which had published the same images in their reports dated October 31, 2022. According to these reports, the photos were taken when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was spotted at Mumbai airport with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan.
